Hello friends! In today’s post I want to share with you a roundup of 10 favorite recipes to make in June. These recipes are all in my blog’s archives, but I thought that they are worth highlighting again as we look forward to graduation parties, Father’s Day, weekend barbecues, and the start of summer entertaining.
At this time of the year, in the late spring and the early summer, farm stands and the farmer’s markets are packed with fresh, colorful produce, herbs, and fruits: from tender lettuces, spinach, and other leafy greens, to fresh peas, asparagus, green beans, and zucchini, to tart rhubarb, juicy berries, and luscious cherries.
As the weather gets warmer, we turn to easy dishes that do not require long cooking times and recipes that can be done (up to a point, at least) ahead of time. With that in mind, I have created a list that includes two easy appetizers, two delicious salads, two flavorful vegetarian dishes, two of my reader’s favorite grilling recipes, and of course, two yummy, seasonal desserts for the end of the meal! All of them can also be expanded for your larger gatherings too!
I hope you get to try a couple of them this month, for a quick weeknight meal, for your backyard cookout, or, even your next potluck dinner!
