Hello friends! I know that this post was supposed to reach you much earlier, but because of unforseen family circumstances and unexpected travel I had to postpone it for a while.
So, here I am today with a post that is something other than a recipe. Every time we go to Greece we always spend sometime in Athens at the apartment that I have had since my college years. It is not a big place–and it doesn’t even have Wi-Fi–but it is comfortable and very convenient to everything, because it is near the center of Athens.
Since everything is relatively within walking distance we often like to stroll around the center of Athens, taking the back roads to avoid as much as possible the crowded touristy areas. If we time those walks correctly (early in the morning or later in the evening are the best hours), we can also avoid the peak of the summer heat.
Enjoy the virtual tour!
