This year the summer months will find many of us in different places than the ones where we intended to be. As for me, I was supposed to be in Greece for summer vacation with my family. I am sure that many of you had to change or cancel all together your summer plans too. Since we cannot change the situation, why not try to make the best of our “stay at home” summer?
For this week’s blog, I thought that I would share some easy recipes for your 4th of July barbeque, which is tomorrow. Start with a refreshing lemonade with lemon verbena to keep your cool, and add an easy summer snack board to nibble on. Then, move on to seasonal appetizers and salads, a few favorite dishes for the grill, and, of course, something sweet to end the feast.
Whether you will be celebrating with a cookout in your backyard just by yourselves and your immediate family, or, with a few close friends practicing social distancing, I hope you find something from this list that you might want to try!
Happy 4th of July, friends!
