Hello friends! Today’s post will be a little different: Instead of sharing recipes, I am sharing some favorite photographs from a trip I took to Italy this summer; specifically, those from our 4-day stay in Venice at the end of our trip. We had a wonderful opportunity to re-explore the city and to reconnect with dear friends. For my new followers and readers, do not worry, this is still a food blog with only an occasional travel post. Whether you have been to Venice before, or, are thinking of going at some time in the future, Venice is a fascinating place to visit!

Love the pictures. What were some of your favorite restaurants?
Marilena Leavitt says
Hi Martha,
We discovered many great spots, off the beaten path….. A few of our favorites:
— Aperitivi: Adagio Café & Wine Bar (a tiny place with only three tables) @ Santa Maria Gloriosa Dei Frari, San Polo
— Lunch: Trattoria Dona Honesta @ Rio Della Frescada, Dorsoduro
— Seafood Dinner: Osteria da Rioba @ Cannaregio
Let me know if you have any other questions
