With all this warm weather we are enjoying here in the eastern U.S., it still feels like summer even if our calendars tell us that yesterday was the first day of fall! I don’t know about you, but I find it hard to start thinking about fall produce and root vegetables just yet.
To keep summer somewhat alive, I decided to put together a post for today which is a “Farewell to Summer Recipes”. These are the recipes that I have been cooking and enjoying with my family throughout these past few months. As long as we can still find some last-of-the-season produce at our local markets, I cannot see why we should stop using them in these delicious recipes!
